Rodolfo is a polyvalent strategist, with international experience in management consulting, social business, bottom-of-the-pyramid businesses, marketing, and leading commercial projects from conception to funding and growth.
He has worked for the social business incubator of Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus, founded and managed an events business during his studies at the London School of Economics, and headed the Business Development division of Groupe SMTP, one of the largest and fastest growing conglomerates of Madagascar and Mauritius, where he was responsible for the creation of 7 new companies ranging from meat production to agriculture, agribusiness and micro finance, obtaining over 12 million USD in European grants and financing from the IFC (the World Bank Group). He has also supported overseeing Jorgensen Foods’ commercial fruit farming operations in Brazil.
He is fluent in five languages (Italian, French, Spanish, English and a working knowledge of Portuguese) enables him to relate to clients and suppliers from diverse backgrounds.
